Expect your child to end the season inspired and empowered by this magical event!
Setting Your Dancer Up for Success
Our top priority is a joyful and successful experience for your child.
Here are ways you can help support their success:

Attendance Matters
Consistent attendance during recital preparation is crucial. Missing classes affects both individual dancers and the entire group, particularly with formations and choreography.
Your commitment to regular attendance helps everyone succeed.
Prioritize Dress Rehearsal & Show Weekend
Dress rehearsal helps dancers adjust to the stage environment before show day. Please note your assigned rehearsal time and keep your dancer's schedule free from other activities during show weekend. This allows them to be well-rested, avoid rushing between commitments, and stay focused on this special milestone. Both dress rehearsal and the show are essential for a confident, enjoyable performance.
Practice at Home
Practice videos will be available in your parent portal (under "Files") before Spring Break.
Encourage your dancer to use these videos to reinforce their choreography and build confidence for the big day.
Parent Meeting
March 31st - April 5th
Plan coming into the studio for the first 25 minutes of your child’s class for a recital meeting. This will ensure you are fully prepared and confident in helping your child have a great recital experience.
Your support in these areas ensures both a successful performance and a rewarding dance experience for your child.

What kind of dance will my child be learning?Great question! We want to keep camp fun and accessible, so our dance camps consist of high energy jazz along with creative movement. While students will work on some dance technique, our main focus is choreography that is joyful, so falling in love with dance is the first lesson of all!
-
Is this just for experienced dancers? No dance experience necessary! We have a broad range of ages and experience at dance camp. For our dance blocks, we like to split into 2-3 groups so that everyone can receive the level of instruction that is right for them.
-
Will my son have fun at camp?We believe that dance is for everyone and we pride ourselves on having themes and curriculum that is fun for all children, not just the girly girls.
-
Will my child be dancing all day?We do not expect our campers to have the stamina to dance all day. We design our day to have dance classes mixed with games, crafts, and even 20 minutes of quiet movie time each day so that everyone is feeling great during our high energy dance blocks.
-
What should my child wear?No special equipment needed. Dress for camp is comfy clothing that is easy to move in. Kids are welcome to wear dance shoes if they have them but socks or bare feet are just fine.
-
What is the student teacher ratio? At all times, our camp maintains a team of instructors, ensuring a maximum student-teacher ratio of 8:1. All of our teachers are phenomenal, seasoned dance instructors with many years of experience working with children.
-
Is lunch provided?Lunch is not provided. Parents should send campers with a snack, a lunch, and a labeled water bottle each day. We do provide occasional snacks and popsicles, so be sure to inform us if your child has any allergies.
